About us

Ignite are the only dedicated multi-artform arts organisation based in the Knightswood area of Glasgow. We want to ensure that everyone regardless of age, background and circumstances can benefit from being involved the arts.

We deliver weekly Drama workshops to children and young people aged 6-24 from diverse backgrounds who live primarily in the North and West of Glasgow. Our members come from across the globe; from Scotland to Somalia, and includes new members from Syria. Many of our members face multiple challenges, whether that is poverty, discrimination, being a young carer, or having additional needs.

In the past couple of years Ignite have diversified by offering creative workshops to people of all ages using a range of artforms.  We now work with people aged 4 to 80+ years of age.
